Our research group is composed of different units, each one follows a line of research: traumatic, bone septic disease, knee, hip, hand, and shoulder pathology. The shoulder unit was the most recent joining the group, and we want to highlight their first collaboration in an international and multicentric trial related to shoulder instability.
2021 was a year for strengthening the previous relationships established between our team members and national and international research groups. This was reflected in the number of cooperative publications, such as the validity of a new knee questionnaire and several scientific papers related to the PREP-IT research group on antiseptic skin solutions in orthopedic trauma.
Following the same strategies as in previous years, 9 doctoral theses are ongoing and investigators are involved in active collaborations in new relevant national and international trials, as well as developing our own studies including follow-up of prior obtained grants.
